Jeff Baron's plays have received over 500  
productions in 23 languages in 46 countries.  
VISITING MR. GREEN, Jeff's best-known play,
starred Eli Wallach and ran for a year at New
York's Union Square Theatre.  
Visiting Mr. Green
won Best Play Awards in Greece, Mexico, Israel,
Uruguay, Turkey and Germany and was a Best
Play nominee for an ACE (Buenos Aires), a
Molière (Paris) and a Drama League Award
(New York).  Jeff's newer plays have originated
in Australia, South America and Europe.

Sean Rosen books, funny novels about a 13
year-old boy's secret adventures in Hollywood,
are published by HarperCollins.  Jeff's master
classes and many school and conference
appearances are built around his unique and
entertaining way of teaching writing and
multi-media storytelling.

For the past six years, Jeff has been the
Author-in-Residence at Ardsley (NY) Middle
School, where working with the English faculty,
he mentors the entire seventh grade as they
write and perform original short plays.

Jeff Baron is also an accomplished screenwriter
and filmmaker.  His original screenplays sold to
Disney, David Brown and Marcia Nasatir.  His
television writing credits include
The Tracey
Ullman Show
, Sisters, other prime time series
and multiple projects for Nickelodeon.  Jeff's
award-winning film
The Bruce Diet was featured
at festivals around the world, including AFI,
London, Bombay and Clermont-Ferrand

Jeff Baron was commissioned by the Los
Angeles Opera to write the libretto for an
original one-act opera,
Escape.  He directed the
premiere of his one-act opera
Song of Martina at
Carnegie Hall.  His journalism and short fiction
have been published in France, Canada and the
