Visiting Mr. Green just began its sixth
season touring the Czech Republic.
With a translation by Benjamin Kuras,
Návštěvy u pana Greena is directed by
Vladimír Michálek and stars Stanislav
Zindulka as Mr. Green and now Daniel  
Tůma as Ross.  Winner of the Czech
Theatre Festival Audience Award, the
production, produced by Kateřina
Schauerová, was taped last June for
national broadcast on Ceska Televise.

In April, 2015, a Brazilian revival of Visitando O Sr.
opened in São Paulo at Teatro Jaragua,
starring Sergio Mamberti and Ricardo Gelli.  It was
directed by Cassio Scapin, who played Ross in the
original Brazilian production with Paulo Autran in
2000 (revived in 2005).  The production continues
its tour of Brazil in 2017.

In May 2015, the first Russian Language
version of Visiting Mr. Green opened at
the Lermontov Theatre in Almaty,
Kazakhstan.  Starring legendary 94-year
old Yuri Pomerantsev and Anton Mitnëv,
directed by Sergei Popov in a translation
by Mikhael Polichtchouk,
continues performances

A revival of Visiting Mr. Green opened in Rome
Teatro della Cometa on November 12, 2015
to rave reviews.  Starring Massimo de
Francovich as Mr. Green and Maximilian Nisi as
Ross, the production is directed by Piergiorgio
Piccoli in a translation by Michela Zaccaria.  
The production toured in early 2017 before a
sold out run at Piccolo Teatro Grassi in Milan.
The tour of Italy will resume in early 2018.

A major revival of Visiting Mr. Green toured
The Netherlands from November, 2015
through April, 2016, with more than 80
performances throughout the country. The
production, starring Bram van der Vlugt as
Mr. Green and Oren Schrijver as Ross,
received stellar reviews.  Jeff Baron was in
close touch with director Bruun Kuijt and
translator Raoul Heertje throughout the
process and was in The Hague for opening
night.  Producer Erwin van Lambaart
assembled an incredible team, including
Marjolein Ettema (design), Uri Raoaoirt
(lighting), Willemijn Kaajager (costumes),
Anouk Kapel, Roy Spork and Lesley Pols
(production) and Sonja van Doren,
Jonathan Hutter and Pascal Schutijser
The Romanian production of In Vizita
La Domnul Green opened in November,
2014 and will continue through 2018.  
Mr. Green is played by Virgil Ogasanu
and Ross is Tudor Istodor.   was
directed by Erwin Simsensohn for the
State Jewish Theatre of Bucharest.  
The translation is by Eliza Simsensohn,
the design is by Irina Moscu and the
music is by AG Weinberger.
Jeff recently had two world premieres, Cuando Tenía
Cinco Años
in Peru and Mischpoke in Germany.
A revival of the much-honored
French production of Visiting Mr.
Green played last summer at the
Avignon Festival, prior to a national
tour.  The production starred
Jacques Boudet as Mr. Green and
Thomas Joussier as Ross Gardiner.
Celebrates its 20th
A new Hungarian
production of VMG
opened in Budapest in
February.  Starring  
Joseph Székhelyi and
Tamas Pal, the
production, by
Veres1Szinhaz, continues
to play in Budapest and
around Hungary.  More
